To the things that scare you, to what you absolutely need, to what you really want, to taking the picture, to introducing yourself, to waiting for God's best, to the Milk Jar cookies, and above all: saying "yes" to your true self. While on an adventure in New Orleans, I ran across this fantastic, 5ft sunshine orange wall guarding a house from the rest of the street. ☀️I love bright things, so I stepped closer, only to discover that there were perfectly arranged glass shards sticking out of the top of this wall. GLASS SHARDS. But they were also bright and beautiful and multicolored. And this ironic image of something so beautiful and beckoning (yes, "beckoning!") yet protecting blew my mind and got me to reexamine my idea of emotional intimacy. WHEW. Here's a new post.
